Our history

1989

Founding of Cuisi-pro, the forerunner of Fantaisie du blé, at Saint-Étienne de Beauharnois, by Lucie Proulx and Yvon Labrecque. It is mainly a cake production plant for wholesale.

1997

Fantaisie du blé is created with the opening of a retail outlet in Mercier. Sale beginning of ready-to-eat meals.

2004

Construction of the current bakery at 205, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Boulevard in Mercier. Fantaisie du blé installs its point of sale on the ground floor and its kitchens upstairs.

Unique homemade recipes, quality ingredients and a team of experienced cooks under the supervision of a chef from the Institut de tourisme et d'hôtellerie du Québec, this is what makes the credibility of Fantaisie du blé for almost 30 years.
